Having a family lineage from the city of Lucknow, wherein lies the richest treasure of urdu literature and well-known writers, he always had an ear for listening to ghazal, nazm, qita, qaul (Qawwali) and having attended dozens of mushaira and discussion on poetry and Sufism in his formative years with his folks. Somewhere deep down, those words seemed to have pierced into him, became second nature, and never left. Today he uses that very language of Urdu and his penchant to express his innermost feelings.
Mujeeb’s style of writing in song, nazm, or ghazal is a very open-hearted and non-adulterated take on romance ranging from unrequited love to that of a forlorn lover to angst-ridden love to that of a mystic. Spirituality and unity are other topics he doesn’t shy away from writing
Mujeeb Faridi
Mujeeb Faridi is a musician and a writer based out of Mumbai – India. From being a DJ, drummer, composer, music producer, and a poet. Having spent his early life working various jobs and later on having found his calling in life at the age of 26, he went on to follow his truest passion there was, music & poetry.
Mujeeb, a self-taught musician realized his passion and followed his heart that took him on a journey of self-discovery. He is a Senior Academic Instructor at “Mumbai Music Institute”. Besides that – He is a partner in Vishwaas~Mujeeb Music Duo which has released a couple of their originals.

Avinash OAk
Avinash Oak started his career as an Asst. Sound Engineer for film productions houses which have produced movies like “Roti, Kapda aur Makaan”, “Navketan & other International films. After which he joined Western outdoor in 1974, a leading music recording Studio as an Asst. sound Engineer and resigned as “Associate Director – Audio” in March 2003. During his long career, he has been part of Private albums, Feature films, Radio commercials and much more.
Apart from being a founding member of Audio Engineering Society (India), he has been recipient of many prestigious awards such as
Recipient of the “Lifetime Achievement Award – 2015” at the Indian Record Industry Awards, 2015(IRAA)
Recipient of the “Outstanding Contribution to the Music Industry, Jury Award” at Mirchi Music Marathi Awards 2018.
Recipient of the “Outstanding Contribution to Audio Education 2017” – Soundideaz Academy.
His inclination towards Music Academia has made him the go-to guy for Sound Engineering. He has been a visiting faculty at many reputed universities including MMI.
