Nikhil Mulay is working in the live sound industry for over 10 years now as a FOH and monitor Mix Engineer. In the past he has worked with Suraj Jagan, Indian Ocean, Anushka Manchanda, Neeti Mohan and Lucky Ali. He is currently associated with Sachin Jigar for the past year, Papon for three years, Jeet Gannguli for one year. He has also worked with The Bartender and Kailasa as a freelancer. In addition to live sound he also works as a Studio Engineer. He is a very experienced person in his field which makes him a sought out teacher for live sound engineering.

Has Learned PIANO: Grade 1-8 (theory and Practical) From Trinity Guildhall (Trinity College Of London) year 2006-2009. Has worked on many projects and has more than 12 years of experience in this field.
He has also worked as a Music Teacher for Khar Gujarat Research Society and since then he developed interest in Teaching .
He has worked as a Music Composer and Arranger for T-Series ( Album MOHABBAT Sound Track ” TERA ISHQ JEE PAUUN”). He has also Worked as a Assistant Engineer For Movie “Men Will Be Men”.
He has Done the Cover videos for Songs Like Jumme Ki Raat, Tattad Tattad, Sunn Raha Hai, Mirrors, Locked Out Of Heaven, Counting Stars, Maron 5, ColdPlay, Happy, Inteha ho gayi, Roop Tera Mastana, Gulaabi Aankhein.
I started my career in 1998 as a Studio Assistant under Neelesh Bhatia and Shantanu Hudlikar with Audiofile Studio, Pali Hill, Bandra which was owned by Filmmaker Rahul Rawail. Then moved to Western Outdoor Studio ‘A’ and worked under Daman Sood & Avinash Oak. After that, I moved to Postation, Pali Hill as a Recording and Mastering Engineer, where I worked with A. M. Padmanabhan, Vijay Benegal and Nikhil Shirodkar.
In 2003, I started off on my own as a Freelance Mastering and Post Engineer, where I have worked and have been working on numerous projects for EMI Music India, Warner Music, Universal Music Group, Ameen Sayani Productions, Strumm Entertainment and quite a few Music Directors and Producers till date.
In 2014, started teaching as a visiting faculty with SeamEdu Media School, Pune and Bangalore where I also spent 18 months on their payroll as Associate Head of Academics, Sound Engineering. Now back to being a visiting faculty with them and now, also with Mumbai Music Institute
Live Sound Engineering
Ashish Sakasena is the owner and chief sound engineer of Purple Haze Studios. He has been in the music industry for almost 20 years. He is a stalwart in sound recording as well as handling sound at live shows as well.
He Works with top musicians like Louiz Banks, Leslie Lewis, Vishal Shekhar, Shankhar Ehsaan Loy and many more.
Abhinav Patankar is an experienced professional, dedicated AV technician, who started his sound engineering career by studying at one of the premier sound institutes. Having being top of his class, he became the youngest head of department to lead one of India’s leading live music venue brands, blueFROG Pune. Abhinav is a recurring visiting faculty member at some of the best sound engineering schools in India.
Currently Abhinav is the FoH engineer for Hari&Suhkmani, the Punjabi folktronica duo, Maati Baani, Gujarati folk rock, Moonstruck Project, who specialize in funk music and Across Seconds, a Bombay based post rock act. He is also the system engineer for the ‘Outline’s flagship model GTO’ and ‘DnB’s V series’ in Gujarat and ‘Meyer Sound’s Leopard’ in Pune.
Abhinav has travelled extensively for live sound engineering. Some of the countries he has visited are Azerbaijan, Oman, Dubai, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Indonesia. The festivals that Abhinav has worked on and successfully mixed at are as follows:

Abhinav has been nominated by the prestigious Indian Recording Arts Academy at the IRAA Awards at Palm Expo 2016 for the category “Best Live Sound Engineer”. Also, During his tenure at blueFROG, the venue had won many prestigious awards such as the INCA Awards for “The Best Performance Venue 2016”, Times Nightlife Award for “The Best Nightclub 2016”. He has an incredible work ethic and is one of India’s finest sound engineers.
Raviraj Panchal believes that a person should be creatively as well as technically proficient to create a mark in the industry! Raviraj is a postgraduate in sound engineering from The Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. He has worked on a number of short films and documentaries, one of which had been screened at IFFI Goa and MIFF Italy. Apart from being a sound engineer he is a singer and a musician. He plays Guitar, Piano and tabla. He composes music for jingles and background scores for films. He is a dedicated teacher, and gets his students completely involved in every class.
A young and dynamic film mix engineer based out of Mumbai, Pingal is one of the youngest expert certified Pro Tools trainers in India. He has worked with Prime Focus as an assistant film mixing engineer on India’s only dual-operator ICON D-Control film mix stage with multiple Pro Tools HD systems, he has also worked on many well-known Bollywood and other regional Indian language films during his near-decade long career. He has a Bachelors of digital film Making and recording Arts degree from the university of Dibrugarh He has Two Diplomas in Audio Engineering from SAE (Byron Bay, Australia) and Digital Film making from Navitas (SAE) (Perth, Australia) and an expert-level Pro Tools certification from Alchemea College of Audio Engineering, London, UK.
